The Ending of the Untold Story
It was late in the afternoon when we got up from bed. After a long night of sweet and memorable conversations, we lost track of time and went to sleep so late. It was great though because we were able to share some of the memories that we’ve spent together, happy and sad ones. We laughed our heads off on funny things she said about her unforgettable experiences.
After fixing the bed, I switched on the computer to check some new films to download from the internet while she prepares our breakfast. She stepped out of the room to cook her favorite, scrambled egg, hotdog and of course pancit canton.
After a while, she called me to have our breakfast and so we did. We spent our breakfast like any ordinary day. We talked while we were eating. We laugh and sometimes she made me change my mood by telling some ridiculous things which made me quiet and sad. Though, she would cheer me up after saying, “Sarap mo talagang asarin, pikon ka kasi eh.“ And my mood would just return to normal after she ease things up.
When we finally went back to our room after our breakfast, she grabbed her cellphone and checked her messages. She told me that one of our friends will come to visit. Well, I told her it’s okay. Waiting for our friend to come, I turned on the television and played a movie and we watched it together. It was fun watching a film with your loved one. We really had a great day.
It was around 6:30 p.m. when our friend arrived in the house. She let her in and stayed. She was not able to entertain our friend that much because during that time, she was very busy playing a computer game, Red Alert 2: Yuri’s Revenge. But our friend was so patient that she let her play her game and waited until she’s finished. Time went so fast that she, herself, did not notice that it was already an hour and a half that our friend had been waiting. So, I decided to get in her place and continue the game she was playing. I won though.
After a long conversation, she went back and asked to play with me. Asked who’s the better player in the game. So we had a game together. While she was playing, she noticed that my phone lit and got a message. I did not bother to find who sent it. After a while, when it was her turn to play, I grabbed my phone to check who sent me the message. It was one of my co-workers who used to send me messages which are obviously just mere quotations. I deleted the message knowing that she’s jealous of her. Thinking that erasing the message will keep me out of trouble, I was wrong. It even caused me to lose everything.
When she finally finished her game, she turned on me and asked who the sender was. Because I was afraid of her, I made a little lie by telling her there was none. I denied there was ever a text message. She kept on asking until she was not able to control her temper. Since I could not bear to see her like that and because I love her so much, I told her the truth. I told her that it was just the same old person who keeps on sending me messages. But she didn’t believe. She kept on saying that it was not her but another. Her temper turned to worse and she shouted at me even when our friend was with us during that time. She went on and it came to a point when she threw the chair at me. And luckily, it was the wall that was hit instead of me. I was not able to stop her anger. She ordered me to leave the house. I was very hurt when she said that infront of a friend and her family. I couldn’t stand it. I packed all of my things and left with tears in my eyes.
To be continued…
